Katie Brennan Kane, AIF®, elected to the Board of Directors of the Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL).

Beacon Financial Planning is also proud to share that Managing Partner, Katie Brennan Kane, AIF®, was elected to the Board of Directors of the Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL).

Katie's appointment marks an important milestone in her relationship with ARL that began in 2022 as a volunteer at the organization's Brewster Animal Care & Adoption Center. Over the past four years, she has supported ARL's mission through volunteer service, fundraising efforts, educational programs, and advocacy for animal welfare.

Her involvement has included:

  • Volunteering at the Brewster Animal Care & Adoption Center
  • Completing the Boston Marathon in support of ARL
  • Raising funds for animal welfare initiatives
  • Hosting educational webinars focused on charitable giving and donor-advised funds
  • Speaking at fundraising and community events to support ARL's mission

"I'm deeply honored to join the Board of Directors of the Animal Rescue League of Boston," Katie said.

"Throughout my involvement with ARL, I've witnessed firsthand the compassion, professionalism, and innovation that define the organization. What has always inspired me most is ARL's commitment to creating a world where animals are protected, respected, and cared for while strengthening the bond between people and their pets. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to that mission and support the animals, families, and communities that rely on ARL every day."
