Over the next decade, Katie played an integral role in Beacon's growth, serving in various leadership positions as the firm evolved into one of Cape Cod's largest independent RIAs, overseeing more than $450 million in client assets. Throughout that journey, she helped build the firm's operational foundation, contributed to investment research and portfolio management, and fostered the client-first culture that continues to define Beacon today.
In 2025, Katie became Managing Partner and co-owner of Beacon Financial Planning, marking the next chapter in the firm's continued growth. Today, she also serves as Chief Compliance Officer, guiding Beacon's strategic direction while overseeing the firm's compliance program, investment oversight, and commitment to delivering thoughtful, fiduciary-driven advice. Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to protecting clients' best interests while ensuring Beacon continues to operate with the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
Katie's passion for investment management inspired her to continually expand her expertise. In 2025, she earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation, reinforcing her commitment to fiduciary excellence and client-centered advice. Additionally, she completed Yale University's Investment Management Theory & Practice program and earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation. Together, these accomplishments reflect Katie's dedication to delivering disciplined investment guidance grounded in fiduciary best practices and institutional-quality portfolio management.
Katie serves on the Board of Directors for the Animal Rescue League of Boston and previously volunteered at the organization's Brewster Adoption Center. In 2023, she completed the Boston Marathon to raise funds for animals in need. She is also an alumnus of the Community Leadership Institute, reflecting her commitment to strengthening the Cape Cod community through leadership and service. Katie and her husband, Dan, live in Harwich with their two dogs, Bogey and Ryder, who was adopted from the ARL Brewster Adoption Center.
